A kitchen built around a fire
Saltmarrow started with a simple idea: cook beautiful seafood over real wood and serve it in a room where everyone feels welcome.

An old net loft by the water
Our building spent decades storing fishing nets for the boats in the harbor. We kept the beams, the brick, and the big windows, then built a twelve foot hearth right in the middle of the room.
The idea was to cook the way people on the coast always have: simply, over fire, with whatever the day brought in.
“If the fish is good, the fire is hot, and the bread is warm, the rest takes care of itself.“The Saltmarrow kitchen

Whole animals, whole seasons
We buy fish whole and use every part. Bones become broth, trim becomes crudo, and nothing goes to waste.
Vegetables come from a handful of small farms within a short drive, and our bread is baked every afternoon in the embers left from lunch prep.
Cook with fire
Oak and almond wood, never gas. Flavor you cannot fake.
Buy close to home
Day boats, small farms, and local bakers whenever we can.
Treat guests like neighbors
Warm, relaxed service. Stay as long as you like.
The hearth is lit and the doors open with twelve tables.
Sunday brunch begins and the bar adds a zero proof list.
The upstairs loft becomes our private dining room.
Same fire, same idea, and a menu that still changes daily.
